Sunday Check-In: What Can Be Good Enough This Week?

Before the new week fills up, decide what deserves your best energy—and what can simply be useful, finished, and enough.

By Ayesha Boger Crawford · September 6, 2026 · 2 min read

Not every part of your week needs the same level of attention. When everything feels equally important, we can spend our best energy on small details and have nothing left for the people, work, rest, or moments that matter most.

Choose your meaningful three

Name three things that deserve care this week. They may be a conversation, a deadline, your health, time with your family, or one step toward something you are building. Keep the list small enough to guide you.

Now name one thing that can be good enough. The meal can be easy. The laundry can stay in the basket. The post can be simple. The plan can change. Good enough is not giving up; it is placing your energy on purpose.

Add one support

Who or what can make the week lighter? Ask for one specific help, remove one unnecessary step, or set one stopping time before the task begins.

You do not have to prove your care through exhaustion. Let the week be meaningful because you were present for it—not because every detail matched.

What deserves your care this week, and what are you ready to let be good enough?
